"After just a couple nights at the hospital, medial staff determined an emergency c-section needed to be done bringing our baby boy into the world on 10/24/24 weighing only 2 pounds and 5 ounces. This was a kind of scare only one in that situation could realize. While worrying if our baby boy would make it, we began worrying how we would be able to spend as much time with him as we could living an hour from Columbus. We were blessed to find out we were accepted into the Family Houser of West GA with open arms. Not only were we treated with care and passion but also, we were provided with all the necessities so we could focus on our baby boy. Fast forward to today (1/7/25) we are packing our bags and saying goodbyes. Our baby is now 6 pounds and 9 ounces and thanks to the Family House we were able to watch him grow every day and night. Thank you for blessing us."

"Our visit was due to a family emergency. My father was visiting Columbus and sustained a traumatic brain injury. Or family traveled from New Jersey and Virgina with no time to prepare. Having the opportunity to stay here allowed us to be close to our father without the worry of meals and accommodations. I am so grateful for the Family House of West GA."

"My stay at the Family House was during one of the most difficult weeks of my life. My mother had significant complications following a routine back surgery. This complication left me 3hrs. from home with no place to stay while my mom recovered.
The Family House was an answered prayer. I was so thankful for a clean and quiet place to sleep so so close to the Hospital. The fully stocked and equipped kitchen made meals so convenient. This house truly thought of everything. I was amazed that even my bathroom was fully stocked with all the necessary supplies. Family House provided such a peaceful sanctuary for me and my family during such a very hard time. I am grateful for all of the many blessings provided by the Family House.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!"
